We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Trustees. As a trustee, you will play a crucial role in guiding our mission to raise awareness of social challenges often hidden within our communities.
We are a foundation committed to raising awareness of social challenges and fostering an inclusive and empathetic society. Our mission is to use photography to provide projects, exhibitions, and opportunities for self-expression to marginalised individuals. We achieve this by working with our partner organisations to create compelling, hard-hitting, and powerful exhibitions and publications. Over the last year, we have experienced significant growth and interest from organisations looking to collaborate with us in raising awareness of the challenges they support. Currently, we are working with over 40 different organisations across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and nationally.
In response to this growth, we are transitioning from a Community Interest Company (CIC) to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), and we need your help to do this. This is the perfect opportunity to be a part of what we do.
Role:
As a trustee, you will:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight.
- Ensure the foundation meets its goals and adheres to its mission.
- Support fundraising and awareness efforts.
- Help foster collaborations with charitable organisations.
Requirements:
- A passion for social impact.
- Experience in being a part of a not-for-profit would be beneficial but not esstential.
- Commitment to attend regular meetings and participate in key events.
- Communication and leadership skills.
